Every new player in this galaxy starts the same way: alone, with a small ship or none, and a name nobody knows. Pirates, raiders and criminals know it too. They do not hunt the fleets. They hunt the people who have just arrived, because the newcomer has no one to call.
Nova Roma exists so that nobody has to start that way.
What Nova Roma gives
This is the compact we are building as the company grows. It applies to every citizen who enters — soldier, pilot, facility worker, patrol, hauler. Whatever your role, Nova Roma provides for you:
- Personal quarters. A place that is yours, inside walls that are watched.
- Equipment for your role. You are not asked to arrive with a kit. You are issued one.
- A ship or a ground vehicle, when your duty calls for it. The company puts hulls under the people who fly them.
- Help when you need it. A recovery, a resupply, a second pilot on a bad run. A citizen in trouble is the company's business, not their own.
What Nova Roma asks
Nothing here is a gift with no hands behind it. What we give, we give because citizens hold it up. In return we ask four things, and only these:
- Help to the community. Show up. Answer the calls. Teach what you know.
- Help to the citizen beside you. Nobody here is a number, and nobody here is left where they fell.
- Help to our walls. Stand a watch. Haul a load. Hold a lane open.
- Help to our future. Build for the people who will enter after you, as others built for you.
Why we do it this way
A protected frontier produces more than a looted one. The proceeds do not sit in a vault at the top: they become quarters, equipment, hulls and operations for the people flying. That is how a company grows from a handful of pilots into a power, and how the person who joined with nothing ends up with a ship, a cohort, and a callsign people know.
If you are new, and you are tired of crossing alone: the gates are open. Your first day here is not spent alone.
Pax non datur. Peace is not given. It is held.
